About
I started out drawing my own comics when the superhero cartoons of the 90s inspired me. I always drew, always enjoyed it, but never thought I could do it for a living. I tried a lot of other things -- I've written copy for entertainment websites in New York City, published novels, published short stories, worked as a brand manager for Diamond Comics Distributors, and currently work in publishing as one of the founding members of Starburns Industries Press, the print division of the animation studio that created Rick and Morty -- but none of it compares to the feeling of contented belonging that I've found as a freelance artist. We're wiser at seven than we are at twenty-seven, I think, and now, in my thirties, I've come back to the guru-like wisdom of that kid drawing Wolverine because he saw him on Fox Kids on Saturday morning. Hire me. Hire that kid. I want to bring your imagination to life as that kid, for that kid.
